SUMMARY:Human Services Grant Funds Informational Workshop
DESCRIPTION:The City of Nevada and Nevada Foundation have formed a partnership to provide grant funding to non-profit organizations addressing the basic needs of food, shelter, and clothing for the citizens of Nevada. The City has committed $40,000 to the Nevada Foundation for these grants this fiscal year.\nBrett Barker, Mayor of Nevada explains, “We are pleased to partner with the Nevada Foundation to make these grant funds available for such important causes in our community. Our missions closely align; we appreciate their willingness to partner with us on this initiative.”\nThe Nevada Foundation will host an informational workshop on Monday, November 14th at 5:00 pm at City Hall. Application details and requirements will be reviewed.\nThe applications will be due by 4:00 pm on December 30th. The final award announcements will be made no later than February 15th, 2023. Application materials can be found on the Foundation website: www.nevadaiowafoundation.org.\n
