SUMMARY:Nevada High School’s presentation of ‘Oklahoma!’
DESCRIPTION:As part of the ongoing Fine Arts Education in Nevada Schools, the Director Team. compromised of Karen Niblock, Shawna Dumbaugh, Alan Erickson, Lisa Ott, Kate Sutton, Kristi Kenealy and Kirsten Weber are directing Rodger’s and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! This was the famed partners’ first book musical and set the American Musical Theater standards.\nSet in the area now commonly called Oklahoma! just after the turn of the 20th Century, the rivalry between the local farmers and ranchers gives up the backdrop for the love story between two amazing couples. Curly and Laurey (Played by Vincent Conrad and Ella Check) and Will and Ado Annie (Played by Jackson Baker and Olivia Beauchene) find that the road to love is anything but smooth. You add in the “bad guy”, Jud, (played by Joseph Dodson) and the ever present Aunt Eller (played by Melisa Garcia and the stage comes to life.\n\n*It does contain the language of the times, making it a PG-13 show.\n\n\nReserved tickets are $12 and General Admission are $10. Tickets can be bought by using the QR code or the website below.\nhttps://nevadahighdrama.seatyourself.biz. There will also be tickets available at the show.\n\n
