DESCRIPTION:The Nevada Parks and Rec staff is hosting a special Parks and Rec Night event this Tuesday, April 11, from 6-8 p.m. at Gates Hall.\nThe event will allow people to come in and learn about the following:\n\nThe new Nevada Field House – How is construction coming along, what amenities and opportunities will this field house present for you, how will scheduling work with this new facility, etc.\nFuture Program Ideas – Find out about indoor playtimes, a walking program, after-school opportunities, adult open recreation ideas, and share with us your ideas for future programs in our community!\nFawcett Family Aquatic Center – Ask us questions about our new RecDesk program and finalize your account (& receive a user card handout), learn about swim lesson programs, aqua aerobics, and MORE!\nFind out What’s Next! We will present and answer questions about trail expansion, a new splash pad, a Nevada Bark Park, and the upcoming Water Quality Project along Indian Creek and in Harrington Park!\n\nA short presentation will take place at 6:30, but please feel free to stop in at any time and look at materials and ask questions! We will see you there!\n
