DESCRIPTION:The Good Samaritan Fund is sponsored and overseen by five local churches: St. Patrick’s Catholic, First Christian, Central Presbyterian, Memorial Lutheran and First United Methodist. The fund helps eastern Story County residents in one-time crisis situations with paying utilities and rent. The fund can also provide gas cards and groceries through the Community Cupboard, if needed.\nThis BBQ event helps raise money to keep this vital community resource available. Cost for the meal will be a free-will offering.\n
