Starbuck’s Drive-In fundraiser meal and concert

On June 30, fire destroyed a local landmark, Starbuck’s Drive-In.

A fundraiser concert and a free-will offering meal at the Senior Center, 1231 6th St. are coming up Aug. 11.

The supper meal will be served at the Senior Center (next to City Hall), offering beefburgers, hot dogs, sides, and drinks from 4 to 7 p.m.

The concert starts at 7 p.m. (it was announced at 8 p.m. in Our Nevada, but the time has been moved up 1 hour!) It will be held in the Lincoln-Jefferson Highways Heritage Park in front of City Hall. Bring a lawn chair and a monetary donation and enjoy an evening of music to help support Starbuck’s return.
