During Monday’s City Council meeting, Barb Mittman was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation for her service on the Nevada City Council. Mittman is stepping off the Council as the year ends. She was first elected in 2016 and has served two full terms. For Mittman, according to her bio on the City website, “each meeting, contact, and conversation” has given “me the opportunity to listen, expand my thinking, identify needs, collaborate, and work creatively to benefit the well-being of our residents.”
