The Nevada City Council has passed an ordinance to change the speed limit on Sixth Street in the area of the new bypass. Sometime today, signs will be posted to change the speed limit from 45 mph to 35 mph from just south of the train tracks all the way to the city limits. We ask residents to please slow down when traveling in this area.
