The City Streets Department plans to put up two more stop signs at the corner of South G and 19th Street, making the intersection a 4-way stop. Temporary stop signs were put up by the DOT recently as part of a detour and then removed, and the City heard from many residents who wished permanent signs would be placed at that corner.
So … the Nevada City Council passed an ordinance at Monday’s meeting to put up permanent stop signs on 19th Street at South G.
Be prepared to STOP when the new signs go up around NOVEMBER 27!
