Caitlin Johnson, 15, daughter of Dan and Carla Johnson, is one of the new lifeguards at Fawcett Family Aquatic Center this summer.
Caitlin, who will be a sophomore this fall, is involved in golf, basketball cheerleading, band, and volleyball. Her older brother Nate will be a senior in high school this fall.
She’s always loved to swim and took swim lessons at FFAC, so working at the pool is a job she loves. “I love being outside, and swimming has always come naturally to me.”
She also is the perfect lifeguard to introduce in July, because July is her favorite part of summer. “Sometimes it’s really hot, but it’s the ‘happy medium’ of summer.” She said June is the beginning, August is the end when school will start, but July is the perfect part — that “happy medium.”
