The Nevada Parks & Recreation Department’s tradition of serving senior residents a Thanksgiving meal will continue this year on Tuesday, Nov. 23.
Seniors can decide to dine in at the Gates Hall auditorium or pick up their meal at the Gates Hall kitchen door between 11:45 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. For those dining at Gates Hall, the luncheon will begin at 11:30 a.m.
All senior residents of our community are invited, along with their friends and guests. This Thanksgiving meal will include turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green bean casserole, scalloped corn, dinner rolls, and dessert. A meal donation of $7 is requested.
