Smoke testing of the sanitary sewer system in 2025 showed that the trunkline along Indian Creek had the most significant problems in the community. With help from the City Engineering firm, WHKS, nearly 40 manholes along Indian Creek from north of Lincolnway to south of Highway 30 will be rehabilitated this year.
Sealed proposals, subject to the conditions contained herein, will be received by the City Clerk of the City of Nevada, at the City Clerk’s office in Nevada City Hall, 1209 6th Street, Nevada, IA 50201, until 2:00 p.m. on the 21st day of April, 2026 for: Construction of “Nevada Trunkline Manhole Rehabilitation”, as hereinafter described in general and as described in detail in the plans and specifications now on file in the office of the City Clerk, Nevada, Iowa.
