City Council Ward 2 Vacancy:
The City of Nevada City Council will have a vacancy on the Council due to a resignation. The Council will be making an appointment on March 25, 2024, to the Council Ward 2 seat, vacated by Brian Hanson. Anyone interested in filling the Council Ward 2 seat until the November 2025 election has been certified is asked to please complete an Expression of Interest Form by March 15, 2024, and return it to City Hall. To be considered for Council Ward 2 you must reside within Ward 2 of the City of Nevada. To verify your Ward, please contact the Story County Auditor’s office.
The Expression of Interest Forms may be picked up and dropped off at City Hall, 1209 6th Street. They are also available to download at this link: Council Ward 2 Application.
