If you see a little white flag along Lincoln Highway, Fawcett Parkway, or in the elementary school area … it is designating the place where a new tree will soon be planted.
Thanks to a $10,000 DNR grant, the City of Nevada will receive 51 trees to be planted on the school’s annual Day of Service coming up next week, April 30, weather permitting.
Country Landscapes is assisting the City with the process of preparing for and planting the assortment of trees.
