Three Mid-States employees, Drake McKeever, Machine & Maintenance Lead; Stefan Luppen, Shipping Supervisor; and Nolan Stahl, Manufacturing Coordinator, were honored with Life-Saving Awards from the City of Nevada at the September 28, 2026, City Council meeting for their quick actions that saved a co-worker’s life this past year. That co-worker suffered a life-threatening cut to his arm and could have bled to death without the “stop the bleed” quick actions of these three employees who jumped in prior to first responders/EMS arriving.
