On Wednesday, August 27, 2025, the City will be closing the small section of trail, just south of Lincoln Highway to where the loop is located.
We will be closing a small portion of the trail for substantial tree removal work along the trail. The tree removals are part of the Sponsored Project to correct erosion issues along the creek. Part of the erosion control in this area is to remove problematic trees.
We are uncertain how long the trail closure will be in effect, but we appreciate your patience. And to be clear – this closure will not affect the loop itself.
