Work is being done to replace some gas lines on S-14 (SW 3rd Street). Most of the work zone is outside the City of Nevada along S-14. What is in the city is on S-14 from the south city limits to Maple Avenue.
On the northeast corner of Maple Avenue and S-14 is a tie into the lines. To complete the work safely, northbound traffic at Maple Avenue will be diverted west on West Maple to 610th, then detoured north. The detour will continue north on Airport Road, then east to S-14. The southbound lane from US 30 on S-14 will remain open.
The changes for traffic will start Monday. Signage will be in place.
