The Nevada City Council recently passed a new ordinance concerning parking in the downtown district.
Previous to passage of this ordinance, all night (overnight) parking was not allowed anywhere in the downtown district.
The new ordinance allows all night (overnight) parking along K and J avenues on certain days. Here are the days it is NOT allowed, as shown in signs along the street:
- Parking is NOT allowed on the south side of K Avenue and J Avenue (between 5th and 7th streets) on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
- Parking is NOT allowed on the north side of K Avenue and J Avenue (between 5th and 7th streets) on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
