How old are you? I’m 16 years old right now and I will be 17 in August.
What grade will you be in this fall? I will be a junior next year in high school.
Who are your parents? My parents are Mark and Elizabeth Cahill.
Have other members of your family worked for the City during the summer? My brother Jack worked for parks and rec for three years. My sister Grace worked concessions for four years.
How long have you had this job? This is my third year working at the pool. It would technically be my fourth, but because we didn’t have a season last year due to COVID, I didn’t work.
What do you love most about this job? I love getting to talk and be around other people. I also enjoy helping everyone that comes to the pool.
What else do you love doing in the summer? I love golfing, playing basketball and running.
Even though Fawcett Family Aquatic Center has been around since 2001, what makes it the coolest place to be in the summer in Nevada? I think it’s one of the best places to be in the summer, because it gives everyone a chance to have a good time and cool off in the water, especially on hot days!
