Camelot Theater ‘Save the Windows’ Fundraiser Concert

About the Band: Original Americana with exceptional songwriting, a superior rhythm section, and amazing licks on a pair of beat up Gretsch’s is what you will hear from Great Caesar’s Goat. The band has years of professional experience behind them, its members sharing stages with the likes of Gary Clark Jr, Little Big Town, Rascal Flatts, and Little Feat just to name a few. They bring a polished, edgy and professional show to every stage… Big or Small.
Chris Patterson is a Nevada native and graduate. He spent years traveling and working all over the United States. In Washington, DC he fell into the music business and eventually started the band LEAVING, TX—serving as the frontman and songwriter for over a decade. The band released 3 critically acclaimed albums; two of which climbed to the top 10 of the Americana Music Charts. He eventually relocated to Austin, TX and focused on his songwriting and crafting his acoustic, solo show. Chris has played across the US and in Scotland and Ireland. He was a featured songwriter at the Bluebird Café in Nashville.
In 2013, Patterson joined up with Texan, Spencer Braly. The pair became fast friends when they ran into each other in a bar in Ames, IA. Within weeks the two began writing and Great Caesar’s Goat was born. They sought out the best rhythm section central Iowa had to offer and soon drummer Todd Cumming and bassist Greg Bruna were recruited to join the duo and round out the band.
Great Caesar’s Goat comes to play… Their setlist varies with each show but consists mostly of originals which the band can choose from over 100 Patterson and Braly penned tunes along with an occasional cover that has been “Goatified”.
