The Nevada Water Department workers will be flushing hydrants during the month of May. Work began May 9 on the WEST side of Nevada. They will work to the east throughout the month.
Residents may experience the following during this routine maintenance procedure:
* low water pressure
* brownish water
The water continues to be safe. Residents should just let it run a while when it is discolored.
