The Nevada Parks and Rec Department will be doing a prescribed burn some time in mid-March on the trail loop at the west side of town. This burn is part of the continued Prairie Restoration Project. Another notice will happen when the exact date is determined, but because the burn depends on weather conditions, that announcement may happen without a lot of notice time.
