Public Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Nevada, Iowa, will conduct a public hearing to consider amendments to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Nevada, Iowa, by amending/repealing Chapter 3, Precincts/Wards. Re-adopting said Chapter for the purpose of Reprecincting in response to the 2020 Census and establishing an effective date. A copy of the proposed amendment to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Nevada, Iowa is available on the City of Nevada’s website and in the City Clerk’s office. Said public hearing will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Nevada, Iowa, 1209 6th Street, Nevada, Iowa 50201, at which time persons may appear for or against the adoption of said Municipal Code proposal.
