The Nevada Public Safety Department is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer (starting wage at $26.01/hr). Physical Agility testing will be held at 8:00 AM on Saturday, January 27th, 2024 at the City of Nevada Fieldhouse, 1625 Fawcett Parkway, Nevada, Iowa 50201.
Those who successfully pass physical agility testing will have a POST (Police Officer Selection Test) and interview set up at a later date.
Certified Police Officers are preferred, but non-certified officers are encouraged to test. Â Minorities, Women, and Military Veterans are encouraged to apply.
