Slight change in City Fireworks Show origin point announced

ATTENTION NEVADA RESIDENTS & VISITORS:
With input from the City’s fireworks distributor, Parks and Rec officials and the fire department, a slight change of location in where fireworks are shot for the City Fireworks Show on July 4th at dusk has been made.
The shooting of the City’s fireworks will happen from the WEST side of SCORE park, rather than the east side as in past years. This allows for no traffic disruption along 19th Street, which will remain open to traffic all evening.
Residents may sit to view fireworks from SCORE Park, but must stay out of the soccer field area, which will be roped off.
Residents are also encouraged to utilize Kiwanis Park, which will have a perfect view and, like SCORE, offers restroom facilities.
See you at dusk on the 4th!
