What is your age and grade in school? I’m 18. I’ve graduated from high school! I will be going to the University of Iowa and majoring in elementary education.
What are your parents’ names? Jay & Kesha Christie
How many years have you been a lifeguard at the pool? This is my third year; fourth if you are counting last year. This year, Brooke is one of two head lifeguards at FFAC.
Do you remember taking swim lessons as a kid? What did you like about swimming? I don’t remember swim lessons, but overall, I just really enjoying swimming, and I like teaching children how to swim.
What is the most important thing you learned during your lifeguard training? To ALWAYS pay attention!! And have fun, but make sure everyone is safe!
What do you love about FFAC? The people I work with, and meeting new people every day!
What is your favorite lifeguarding post at the pool? Top of the slides!
What is your favorite concessions stand item? Any sort of candy.

What’s your best pool move? I enjoy going off the diving board and just swimming around playing games.
Is there anything else you’d like to add about being a lifeguard? It’s a really great summer job, and it’s really fun.
