What is your job at FFAC? Manager, one of four. This is my first year at the aquatic center. I’ve worked for Parks and Rec around 10 years and also do umpiring, program supervision and supervise the four-plex during tournaments.
What is your favorite thing about working at FFAC so far? Seeing all the kids. I know a lot of them from the school. (Sarah is a behavior interventionalist at the elementary school.)
What have you always enjoyed most about FFAC? The atmosphere of being around everyone. It’s a social event.
What is your favorite pool move? I like the slides, even as an adult.
What is your favorite item at the concession stand? Pretzel bites
How many swimsuits do you own? I have three lifeguard suits and about 15 regular ones. I’ve always loved the water. When I was little, I spent every day at the pool.
What do you have to say most to the kids at the pool to be sure they’re safe? Stop horsing around.
