A reminder: Bicycles are not to be ridden on 6th Street in the downtown area

The City has been made aware of a recent incident of several people riding bicycles on Sixth Street in the business district. We would ask that all residents review with their family members that bicycles are not to be ridden on Sixth Street between I Avenue and M Avenue. Code section 76.10 reviews this matter.

  1. Other Locations.  When signs are erected on any sidewalk or roadway prohibiting the riding of bicycles thereon by any person, no person shall disobey the signs.
