City crews will soon begin sealing cracks on the city’s trails.
Parks and Recreation Director Tim Hansen said residents would see equipment along the trails, starting on the west side of town. As each crack is filled, Hansen said sand or a paper-like product is put over the sealant. He urges those using the trails, especially bicycle riders, to be extra careful riding over the loose materials, which take time to wear down.
The City’s Public Works Department will work with the Parks and Recreation Department on these repairs. The work will happen over the next few weeks.
