Accomplished this week:
Sidewalk work moved along in Block 2 (J to K) this week, with the paving of sidewalks on both sides of Sixth Street. If you haven’t done so already, plan a walk on the new sidewalks in Block 2 this weekend!
The mainline of J Avenue was paved from Sixth Street to Fifth Street.
Utility work was completed on J Avenue from Sixth Street to Seventh Street.
What’s ahead:
By Tuesday, Sept. 1, it is hoped all concrete work will be completed in Block 2.
Removal of old sidewalks on the west side of Block 3 (K to Lincolnway) is planned to start Wednesday, Sept. 2.
By the end of next week, work is expected to start on light poles in Block 2.
