The yard waste site in Ames is located at 400 Freel Dr. Those participating in Yard Waste Free Day are asked to enter the site from South Dayton Avenue to Southeast Fifth Street and exit onto Lincolnway. Yard waste is not accepted at the Resource Recovery Plant (RRP).
