Once again, the City of Nevada will host Fill the Foyer during the month of January 2023. Fill the foyer was an initiative started by Mayor Brett Barker to focus on the positive, giving spirt of the Nevada Community.
During the month of January, residents are invited to donate clothing you no longer need or wear, along with other household supplies, toiletries, and non-perishable food items for those in need.
Nevada Food at First has supplied the following “wish list”:
Kitchen Supplies:
- Liquid hand-washing soap
- Dish soap
- Paper Towels
- 55 gallon garbage bags (Sam’s Club)
- Aluminum Steam Table Half-Size Pans (Sam’s Club)
- Aluminum Steam Table Full-Size Pans (Sam’s Club)
- Pot holders/oven mitts
- Kitchen wash cloths (not microfiber)
Meal/Food Packing Supplies:
- Zipper sandwich bags
- Zipper freezer quart and gallon bags
Food items:
- Pan spray
- Ranch dressing (dry mix) – 16 oz
Bring your donations to the front foyer of City Hall, 1209 6th Street, any time during our regular work days this January.
