The Nevada City Council recently passed a new ordinance concerning parking in the downtown district.
Previous to passage of this ordinance, all night (overnight) parking was not allowed anywhere in the downtown district.
The new ordinance allows all night (overnight) parking along K and J avenues on certain days:
- Parking is allowed on the south side of K Avenue and J Avenue (between 5th and 7th streets) on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
- Parking is allowed on the north side of K Avenue and J Avenue (between 5th and 7th streets) on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
