What do you do at FFAC? Lifeguard. This is my first year. I was going to do it in 2020, but …

Why did you want to be a lifeguard? I used to go to the pool a lot as a kid and saw lifeguarding as a fun activity and a way to be around the pool. (He’s also busy in the summer lifting and working out for football and basketball.)

What is your favorite pool move? Doing backflips.

What is your favorite lifeguard station? I like being by the diving well, because you get to watch a lot of kids go off the boards.

What do you do to stay safe when you’re in the sun so much? During the pool breaks, I swim around in the pool to cool off.

What have you needed to say most often to kids during your first days as a lifeguard? Keep your hands off the ropes; don’t tug on them.

What is the most valuable thing you learned in lifeguard training? CPR and other medical training, because that’s something you can use as a lifelong life skill.

What is your favorite item at the concession stand? Gatorade Protein Bars. They’re so good.

How many swimsuits do you own? One
