Fast Facts (made available by the Story County Auditor’s office)
October 13: absentee voting begins
October 18: deadline to pre-register to vote
October 18: last day to request a mailed absentee ballot
November 1: last day to vote absentee in person
November 2: polls open 7 am to 8 pm
Voters must go to assigned precinct
The Auditor’s Office is open from 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday (open until 5 pm on 10.18.21)
Satellite absentee voting available from 10 am to 4 pm on the following days:
- Thursday, October 14, Scheman Bldg, ISU Campus
- Saturday, October 30, Ames Public Library
Deadlines
Voter registration forms and absentee ballot requests for mailed ballots must be received in the Auditor’s Office by 5 pm on October 18.
